Summer Camps

June 17-20, 10:00-11:30
Grades 7-9
Players will learn correct skills, practice, and use them in game situations. This camp provides the opportunity to learn skills even if the game isn't offered at the grade school level. Come dressed to play - shorts, t-shirt, tennis shoes. Knee pads are recommended.

June 10-13, Grades 5-8
Girls 9:00-1:00
Boys 3:00-5:00
This camp emphasizes fundamental basketball skills - shooting, passing, ball handling, basic defensive concepts. Come dressed to play but please don't wear your court shoes outside the gym.

June 24-27, Grades 1-8
1:00-3:00
Athletes should bring a water bottle, come in shorts and a t-shirt, with hair pulled back, and no jewelry. Shoes should be appropriate for stunting and tumbling.

June 24-27, Grades 5-9
8:30-10:30
Football camp offers boys the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of football. Come dressed to perform; shorts, t-shirt, football cleats, and water bottles.

July 15-17, 9:00-11:30
Grades 5-8
WLA Theatre camp invites students to explore the different aspects of acting through scene and character work, expressive reading, improvisation, staging, and choreography. Everyone will be on stage, so come dressed in comfortable clothes and tennis shoes. Campers receive one free student ticket to WLA's 2019-20 mainstage productions.

July 22-24, 9:00-11:30
Grades 6-8
Learn how to make a film ! We'll cover how to tell a story through film, practice camera techniques, learn how to create shots that tell a story, have fun with the green screen, and try some basic editing. No previous experience or equipment is required - all needed equipment will be provided by WLA.
